I decided to part take in this years Pattern Challenge by Mel by the illustrator, Melanie Johnsson.
I really want to move my illustrations into print and see what they would look like as a surface pattern on children's products, such as a yoga mat, socks, onesie, drawstring bag and a towel.

I tried to stick to two colour palettes but I found that quite limiting but yet I do love a challenge and I think they worked rather well together. I also decided to illustrate one pattern in Procreate and one in Adobe Illustrator every other day.
Here are a few of my favourite patterns for children, I hope you enjoy!
My dream is to illustrate for children. Be it children's books, products or print.
